Ben Hatke is an artist, illustrator, and cartoonist. He grew up in and around Lafayette, Indiana where, thanks to his father, his training in draftsmanship began at an early age. Ben learned painting through studying the old masters and by training at the Charles Cecil Studios in Florence.

Ben's publishers include Sophia Institute Press and Random House. He is a contributor to the Flight Anthologies, and a co-creator of SmallPax.com, an online sketchbook for Catholic and Christian illustrators.

He lives and works in Front Royal, Virginia with his lovely wife and growing family. Breakfast is his favorite meal of the day.
